CULT HOUSE
December 2019 to December 2020, Cult Love curated, documented, and participated in the application of floor-to-ceiling murals from nineteen Tulsa, OK artists, installed in the CULT HOUSE V 2.0, a century old Tulsa family home. In 2022, a documentary was created from an archive of digitized VHSC footage with an original soundtrack; it has been screened at Living Arts, AHHA, as well as the New Orleans Second Line Film Fest. It has been featured in the Cheyenne Scarborough film, Vivian (2024), and the Suzanne Kite film, Winyam Yamni: Three Dreams (2023).
The home and project is widely cited as the first Tulsa “art house” that catalyzed a wave of similarly styled homes and DIY artistic movements in the Tulsa art community. It is regularly used to host concerts and events as well as acting as an alternative gallery and exhibit space.
On March 1, 2025, Cult House hosted its last event, One Last Waltz at Cult House, featuring performances by longtime friends and collaborators, Stalking and Crackrock.
